    Although this is short notice we need your support tonight. If you're concerned about the future of DePaul Hillel come out tonight and meet with the Vice President of Student Affairs, Jim Doyle. We're going to be discussing everything from space on campus to your feelings about being Jewish at DePaul. Now's your chance to be heard!

    Keeping the Faith at DePaul

    This Thursday January 26th, Hillel and Catholic Campus Ministry are having a joint movie night. We will be watching "Keeping the Faith." And of course, there will be food...pizza!     HILLEL CITYWIDE ANNUAL LATE NIGHT SKATE WITH ISRAEL - SATURDAY, JANUARY 28

    10 PM-MIDNIGHT - ICELAND ICE ARENA, 8435 W. BALLARD, NILES

    $10 contribution.  Your gift goes to the JUF Campaign that helps support
    Israel.

    Iceland is at the corner of Cumberland and Ballard.  If you have your own
    skates - bring them!  There is no charge for skate rental, but so many
    people come to this each year - they sometimes run out of large sizes, and
    you have to wait for skates.

    "WANNA HOLD 'EM?" - THURSDAY, JANUARY 24 - STARTING AT 6 PM - STUDENT
    LOUNGE, 1ST FLOOR, MUNDELEIN CENTER

    Hillel at Loyola invites you to a night of cards, games, pizza and snacks!
    For "Texas Hold 'Em" there will be a $5 entry fee and 1st, 2nd and 3rd
    place prizes will be given.  Entry fees will be donated to the Jewish
    United Fund Campaign.

    There will also be Doorak, extra decks of cards and board games.  Join us
    for a night of "fun and games."

    ISRAELI CONSUL TO VISIT Hillel-at-Loyola niversity Chicago

    DR. ANDY DAVID, DEPUTY COUNSEL GENERAL OF ISRAEL TO THE MIDWEST

    will lead a discussion on

    "Israel - What the Media Doesn't Tell You""

    Israeli Dinner - 4:00 PM, Discussion by Dr. David - 4:30 PM


    Hillel at Loyola is honored to sponsor the visit of Deputy Consul General
    Andy David.  He is the highest ranking Israeli consular official to speak
    at Loyola in many years, and he comes at a critical time in Israel's history
    - Prime Minister Sharon remains in a coma, the Israeli elections are
    several months away, the Palestinian elections are Wednesday.

    Dr. David will lead a frank discussion of Israel's current internal
    political situation as well as offer an honest appraisal of
    Israeli/Palestinian relations.  He will also share some of Israel's
    remarkable achievements that never make it to the headlines of our
    newspapers.

    We think this is a timely, outstanding opportunity for learning and asking
    questions you have wanted answered.  We look forward to having you join us
    Tuesday afternoon.
