Started in 2001 in conjunction with Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hasbara Fellowships brings hundreds of students to Israel every summer and winter. Now entering their fifth year, Hasbara Fellowships has trained nearly 1,000 students on over 170 campuses, providing its participants with the information, tools, resources, and confidence to return to their campuses as leaders in the fight for Israel's image. Its annual Spanish program will run this year from Monday, June 26 through Wednesday, July 26 at the Hillel facility in Montevideo. In addition to language instruction, this exciting program gives participants the opportunity to earn academic credits at their college or university, help the local community and have a summer of fun. The month-long program includes Berlitz Spanish classes and all required materials; four-star accommodations; one kosher meal a day; transportation to and from the airport; participation in Hillel Uruguay activities; involvement with the Tzedek Hillel social-justice program; and trips to Buenos Aires, Argentina, Colonia del Sacramento and Punta del Este, a popular seaside resort. The Hillels of Illinois final Cross-Campus program of the year is the
annual Memorial Day Weekend Boat Party on beautiful Lake Michigan with
dinner, dessert, and beverages inside on the lower deck, the DJ on the
upper deck, as well as giveaways, party pics and Navy Pier fireworks! This
year's theme has the imagery of a magic carpet - "TAKE A FLIGHT... ON AN
ARABIAN NIGHT."

The Boat Party is a spectacular event!  We are again using the elegant
VALARA VI cruise ship docked at Burnham Park Harbor (behind Solider
Field).  The cost is $35/person paid at boarding.  Boarding is at 7:30 PM,
