announcement about this semester's Maimonides program and 2 job
postings.
"NEW YEAR" SHABBAT DINNER THIS FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 - 6 PM
CARDINAL'S SUITE, FIRST FLOOR-MUNDELEIN CENTER
It's not the Jewish New Year or the secular New Year - but it is the "new
year" of school. The Shabbat dinner will be very traditional - matzo ball
soup, honey chicken, kugel, challah ... After dinner, some students will
be walking to 8 PM services at Emanuel Congregation, 5959 Sheridan Road.
There is no charge, but we would like to know how many people will be
joining us. So, if you can come - email Patti Ray - pray@luc.edu or sign
up in Hillel.

Hi,
On behalf of Hillel at Loyola, we hope you had a great winter break.
Tomorrow we will send a listserve message with some of the spectacular
programs that Hillel has planned for the beginning of the semester.
This includes the Tuesday, January 30, 8 PM concert at The House of
Blues by the acclaimed Israeli-Ethiopian fusion band The Idan Raichel
Project. There are highly subsidized $15 tickets (regular price $35)

For today, we want to forward to you this "gift" we were sent by the
Israeli Consulate for those who have just returned from their Birthright

looking forward to visiting Israel in the future.
B'shalom,
