The final Shabbat dinner of the year is an homage to baseball!  This is
will a kosher Shabbat dinner with a few "un-tradtional" surprises!

We hope you will join us.  Sign up in the Hillel office or e-mail Hadleigh

NOW TO THE REMINDERS ABOUT THE REST OF THE WEEK:

MONDAY-WEDNESDAY, COFFEY HALL BASEMENT - "DARE TO ENTER THE DECONSTRUCTION
ZONE!" - Monday & Wednesday, 5-9 PM, Tuesday - 4-8 PM.

Hillel's scene, "Anti-Semitism Then and Now," is the first one that is

racism and oppression for students, faculty and staff to experience.

MONDAY, APRIL 24 - 11:00 AM-12:30 PM - HILLEL LIVING ROOM

"WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE.....IT'S NO LONGER LOVE"

Hillel at Loyola and SAAG (Sexual Assault Awareness Group) invite you to a
very special program as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Week.

We will screen the video "WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE...." and then have a
discussion about abusive relationships in the Jewish community and
gender/power dating relationships in general.

The discussion will be led by staff members of the Response Center.

We will also be serving a pizza lunch, the first Post-Passover pizza!

YOM HASHOAH - HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY - TUESDAY, APRIL 25, 2006

Tuesday is he 27th of Nisan on the Jewish calendar, the day set aside to
commemorate the 6 million Jewish victims of the Nazi Holocaust, which
includes 2 million Jewish children.  After World War II, the world Jewish
community tried to find a day on which to set this commemoration, and
selected the date on the Jewish calendar that marked the end of the battle
of the Warsaw Ghetto, one of the great examples of Jewish resistance
during World War II.

Hillel will have a YOM HASHOAH COMMEMORATION TABLE in the CFSU LOBBY from
10 AM - 2 PM on TUESDAY, APRIL 25.

We will have the traditional 6 yarhzeit candles, symbolizing the 6
Million, and there will be a display of literature and resources about the
Holocaust. We will also be showing videos about the Holocaust at the
Commemoration Table.

We hope you can take a few minutes out of your day to stop by the table
and reflect on the victims of the Holocaust - the 6 Million Jews and the 6
Million others who perished.
