Fwd: Personal Statement Workshop

Attention Pre-Health Students:

All health professional schools require applicants to submit a Personal
Statement. In fields with national application services like medicine,
committees may read this long before they receive letters of evaluation
and supplemental materials.  With limited opportunity to discuss one's
motivation for a specific care in the health professions, the personal
statement can be crucial to one's candidacy.

The Pre-Health Professions Office will be hosting a workshop to discuss
the do's and don'ts of writing a personal statement:

Monday, November 6, 5:00-6:00 pm, Damen Hall 735
Thursday, November 9, 5:00-6:00 pm, Damen Hall 735

Similar information will be covered in each workshop, thus it is only
necessary to attend one.
