January 2007   Hi Everyone, Hope you had an awesome weekend and are ready for a great week of events.  We've got club recruitment at Oakton and plenty of Tu B'Shvat happenings at DePaul.  See you on campus! Hillels Around Chicago   Hatikvah Project         The Hatikvah Project: Art Show A student multi-media themed art show for juried prizes -- Hatikvah is the national anthem of Israel. It also means The Hope. Out of these two concepts MOSAIC: Jewish Arts in the Loop, the Hillels Around Chicago's student arts consortium, is sponsoring a multi-media arts show for juried prizes of up to $500. All arts can be represented using this theme in any way the artist desires: fine arts, graphic arts and design, mixed media, film, theatre and performance, music, etc. Important Meeting : An informational meeting for The Hatikvah Project will be on Thursday February 1 at Spertus Institute at 6:30 pm. A free light dinner will be included. At this meeting students will be informed about: Use of the theme, Criteria for judging, Dates for submission, Prizes for the awards Thursday Feb. 1st: 6: 30p.m. Spertus Institute 618 S. Michigan Ave. Please ask the front desk for the floor and room number. RSVP by Wednesday January 31.
