Fwd: [Hillel-at-Loyola] Walk With Israel

We know you are now in the midst of finals - but we would like to give you information about the annual "Walk With Israel" which is being held this SUNDAY, MAY 6 in numerous locations in the city.  To find out information about the individual walks, just go to the website - www.juf.org/walk.

Each of the Walks have their kick-offs at varying times Sunday morning, and each has special entertainment.

Hillel at Loyola students are meeting to walk together for two of the Walks - the City Walk - which is in the Lakeview area, and the Northwest Suburban Walk in Buffalo Grove.

If you are interested in walking with other Hillel students on the City Walk - please meet Lisette Zaid and Nana Joseph at Hillel at Loyola at 8 AM on SUNDAY.  Students will leave Hillel by 8:30 AM and take the el to get to the City Walk Registration at the Marovitz Golf House south of Addison at Lake Shore Drive.  The Registration for the City Walk begins at 8:30 AM, with the City Walk Kick-Off being at 9:45 AM.  The City Walk ends at Anshe Emet Synagogue, 3751 N. Broadway.  There will be food and activities at Anshe Emet beginning at 11:15 AM.

If you are interested in walking with other Hillel students on the Northwest Suburban Walk, please email Konstantin Garibashvili at kgariba@luc.edu to decide upon a good place to meet.  The Northwest Suburban Walk Registration begins at 8:30 AM at Twin Groves Junior High School, 2600 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.  The Kick-Off is at 10:30 AM.  There is no parking at Twin Groves.  Parking is at Stevenson High School.
