PURIM - ON-CAMPUS AND OFF!

Shalom,

We hope you had a good Spring Break. You are coming back to Purim!, which
begins Monday evening, when the Megillah is read and continues all day
Tuesday, when it is traditional to hear the Megillah again.

Following are the Purim options on-campus and off. Please note that on
THURSDAY, MARCH 16 - Hillel is having a Post-Purim Bruch called the "Purim
Groove." Details are below:

PURIM DINNER, MEGILLAH READING AND OLD-FASHIONED PURIM CARNIVAL!!


Our synagogue neighbor just down the street from Sullivan Center has
invited us to their annual Purim Party and Purim Carnival! (Remember
those goldfish in plastic bags???) They would love Loyola students to
come! Anyone who wants to go to Emanuel and walk together - meet at
Hillel at 5:30 PM.

6:00 PM - Dinner
6:45 PM - Megillah reading - kids and synagogue staff will be in costume!
Traditional Purim Carnival at the synagogue follows the Megillah reading!


NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY

The following two Northwestern options are only an el-ride away. Take the
Purple line to Foster and walk east to get to Hillel as well as Chabad
which is just north of Foster and Orrington. You can go to both - they
are around the corner from each other!

$10 (instead of $20) for any Hillel student that comes.

Party.


THURSDAY, MARCH 16 - HILLEL "POST-PURIM GROOVE"/BRUNCH - 11 AM-1 PM

In case you did not get your fill of hamantaschen - a Hillel first - a
real brunch with scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, bagels, cream cheese
and hamantaschen!

You don't have to come in costume - but you can get a mask! And we will
be playing funky, groovy music at Hillel throughout the brunch!
