Rally Reminder/Israel on Your Mind

TOMORROW, MONDAY, MAY 1 - RALLY TO STOP THE GENOCIDE IN DARFUR
4:30 PM - FEDERAL PLAZA, DEARBORN AND ADAMS

A citywide rally sponsored by a coalition of faith-based, ethnic, civic
and student organizations dedicated to ending the atrocities that threaten
the lives of 2 million people in the Darfur region of Sudan.

It's happening now.  Over 400,000 killed.  More than two million at risk.
We must act now.

Northwestern was the only local university that chartered buses to go the
Washington DC rally for Darfur that was held today.  This is our
opportunity to make our voices heard.

It will be a crowded day downtown.  I am sure most of you know there is
also an immigrant rights rally earlier in the afternoon.  We have to make
sure that there are also people present to take a stand for Darfur.

If you want to leave from Loyola, we will meet at Hillel at 3:30 PM.
