Passover events

Shalom,

We hope you are having an enjoyable Passover.

We have two very special Hillel programs this week, right after Passover ends.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11 - "THE COMING OF LILITH: REFLECTIONS OF A JEWISH FEMINIST" - 3:30 PM - HUSSEY LOUNGE

In a lecture co-sponsored by the Women's Studies Program, the Gannon Center, Hillel and the Office of Student Diversity, DR. JUDITH PLASKOW, one of the foremost scholars of Jewish feminism, and a Professor at Manhattan College, will share reflections from her most recent book of essays "The Coming of Lilith."

This is the first time in recent memory that a Jewish feminist scholar has appeared at the university.

There will be a reception following the lecture.  Hussey Lounge is on the 10th floor of Damen Hall.

THURSDAY, APRIL 12 - LUMA EXHIBIT OPENING - "A BLESSING TO ONE ANOTHER - POPE JOHN PAUL II AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE" - 4-6 PM EXHIBIT TOUR - 6 PM RECEPTION/PROGRAM

This is a major installation exhibit being brought to the Loyola University Museum of Art.  The exhibit will run through the summer.

If you are able to join us for the opening, please email Patti Ray - pray@luc.edu - by Thursday morning, April 12.
